Michael Dillard

CEO and President of YottaStor

Mr. Dillard is a founder and executive director of YottaStor, LLC. With a 40-year track record of successfully developing high performance solutions for government and commercial clients, Mr. Dillard is a well-known entrepreneur in the technology arena.

Mr. Dillard has served in executive positions in the Federal Government, Fortune 200 companies, and technology startups. Past positions at Fortune 200 companies included Vice President, Worldwide Research and Development for Texas Instruments: Senior Vice President of Sterling Software; and, Corporate Vice President, SAIC. Other corporate executive positions included President and COO of Life Cast; National Partner at Tatum Partners, LLP; Senior Vice President, ClubCorp, and co-founder of Avendra.

Prior to entering the private sector, Mr. Dillard was a member of the Federal Government, Senior Executive Service at the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office. As the first Chairman, Information Policy Board, under Director Robert Gates, Mr. Dillard became one of the first government CIO’s. He spearheaded more than 28 re-engineering projects and his accomplishments at the Agency landed him the cover of Information Week (July 1994). Previously, as a Senior Executive at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), he successfully led the development of several billion dollars of leading-edge systems.
Mike is a decorated recipient of four National Medals, including the Intelligence Medal of Merit and the CIA Commendation Medal. He holds an M.S.A. in Management and Systems from George Washington University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Georgia.

Mike and his wife share their time between homes in northern Virginia and Georgia.
